Senior Data Scientist

Job brief 

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to participate in the deployment of our AutoML solutions for our clients. In this role, the Senior Data Scientist will work closely with our Director of AI Solutions and AI Services Manager. The Senior Data Scientist shall serve our customers internationally, particularly US-based.

Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities 

• Modeling  machine learning problems:  Model Target and KPI Definition, Business Process Definition, Integration Architecture 
• Ability to write a Statement of Work 
• Data Understanding and Update 
• Feature Engineering and Selection, Model Configuration, Training and Evaluation 
• Testing and Fine Tuning 
• Ability to customize an ML Dashboard and relevant KPI Reporting 
• Substantial experience with databases, querying data, and data structure manipulation
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical developers and non-technical marketing business partners
• Ability to come up with a rough project structure from scratch
• Ability to critically analyze given data, ask probing questions, and perform own research
• Hyperparameter Optimization 
• Ability to conduct an End User Workshop 
• Integration Implementation and Integration and Performance Testing 
• Business Process and Business Actions Update 
• Write technical specification documents 
• Perform advanced data analysis, conduct relevant research and create reports; 
• Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products; 
• Work closely with clients, project managers, IT teams, external consultants 
• Conduct reviews to identify issues on solutions/products, develop corrective
  actions, and communicate issues, impacts and corrective actions to project
  teams; 
• Design and develop innovative solutions; 
• Represent the company as required, including attending industry events and
  presenting webinars.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Experience 

• Excellent written and spoken English. 
• 5+ years of experience solving analytical problems using machine learning, data
  science, statistics, and other empirical techniques. 
• Knowledge and experience with “Applied Statistics”, “Machine Learning” and “Deep
• Learning” concepts like Regression, Classification, Data Mining, Clustering, Neural Networks,
• Skill to prepare and present business focused and/or technical presentations
• Skill to effectively describe and report on complex ideas and projects
• Good command of Python and  SQL 
• Experienced in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume,
  high-dimensionality data from varying sources. 
• Excellent client facing and internal communication skills 
• Proven experience in building and working with multidisciplinary teams,
  customers, technical teams and management 
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills; 
• Big Data and AI Frameworks (e.g Spark, Keras, TensorFlow and others) 

An M.Sc or equivalent in Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or related technical field is a plus
