Our CEO & Co-Founder Zehra Cataltepe on Women Making a Difference Awards

Yesterday our CEO & Co-Founder Zehra Çataltepe was selected as this year’s “Woman to Watch” in the Technology category.

10 female leaders were awarded at the Women Making a Difference ceremony, which was organized with the main support of MediaMarkt Turkey. The ceremony was held as a part of Brand Week Istanbul for the 9th time this year.

Women to Watch awards are given by MediaCat to honor successful women who are forward thinkers and groundbreakers in different categories, especially in the brand, business, marketing, and creative realm.

In this year, awards were presented to 10 successful women, selected in 7 different categories within the framework of identified criteria on Thursday, November 11th. Zehra Çataltepe attended the ceremony with a video message where she talked about how TAZI tries to integrate artificial intelligence in business:

“At TAZI, we aim to turn artificial intelligence, which is seen as a complex technology, into a technology that business people can use later on. We have come a long way in this regard, but still have a long way to go. Currently, we can build systems that can work within 10 days, and we can demonstrate the value of artificial intelligence in a few months.”

Çataltepe also thanked MediaCat for this award and pointed out how such awards and recognitions would empower women and help to close the gender gap especially in a sector like Technology alongside supporting new enterprises and startups.
